Allen Morgan

Allen Morgan served as an Idealab Director from 2008 - 2019, and as a Director of Idealab Studio from January 2020. Allen has spent 40 years counseling entrepreneurs throughout the startup process. Between 1999 and 2011, he served as a Managing Director at Mayfield, and before that he was a partner at Latham & Watkins and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Mr. Morgan is an Associate Fellow at the Said Business School, the graduate business school at the University of Oxford, and is a Visiting Fellow at Keble College, also at the University of Oxford. Mr. Morgan is Chairman and CEO of Idealab NY, Inc., and the Managing Member at Idealabx1. Mr. Morgan earned an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, a second bachelor's degree and master's degree from Oxford University (Christ Church) and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
